On Track Piraten

Sunday, October 30th, 2016

Five of the 10 International Trot horses have raced again after the $1,000,000 event, four have won and one was second!

Flanagan Memory won the Breeders’ Crown Open Trot at the Meadowlands while Resolve the International Trot winner was second. Hannelore Hanover won the Breeders’ Crown Mare Trot.

The trip to the USA did not do any harm to the European horses, on the contrary, they’ve handled the race and the trip well.

On Track Piraten won the Müllers Memorial at Jägersro easily for the third year in a row! He won by three lengths on a new world record time over the long distance of 2640 meters (about a mile and 5/8). Johnny Takter drove the 8 year old 17 hand tall gelding.

Tano Bork, the Danish horse who was driven by John Campbell and made a break from start in the International Trot was back as a winner. He won the Jägersro Store Montépris in Malmö ridden by Christina Lindhardt.
